Position Summary: This Print Finishing Apprentice position is responsible for operating equipment to execute customer projects with excellence. They will also be responsible for assisting with custom-finishing operations where needed. 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm.
Job Responsibility
Set up and run equipment to produce quality results
Complete work in a timely manner as defined by production schedules
Understand requirements and ensure finished work effectively drives down stream processes
Accountability for the quality of worked produced
Recognize errors quickly and ensure completed work meets our quality standards
Assist with hand-finishing projects as needed
Requirements
High school or GED preferred
1+ years Experience operating machines/equipment
Possess manual dexterity and is mechanically inclined with ability to trouble shoot
Strong, efficient work ethic that can thrive in a high stress, fast paced, deadline driven environment
Follow through with responsibilities while following safety rules, processes and best practices
Proven organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
Possesses basic arithmetic skills and ability to read a ruler
Possesses basic computer/data entry skills
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
Ability to work overtime and weekend work as necessary
