As a Print Designer (Mechanical Artist), your role involves creating mechanicals (ready-to-print files) for our client, which will be viewed by people around the world. This position requires a collaborative individual who is highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and capable of working under flexible and demanding deadlines with high expectations.
Job Responsibility:
Analyze files provided by clients, vendors or in-house design teams and assess suitability for printing, checking all the technical aspects
Troubleshoot and fix file issues, including alignment, color and other image and typography problems
Produce print-ready mechanicals according with the creative design and the spec-sheet provided or defined
Complete relevant checklists for all assigned tasks to ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy
Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency are maintained
Work with different team members to accurately implement content across a range of print pieces
Create and update mechanical templates
Understanding of spec-sheets provided and participate in its creation when needed
Create and adapt various types of print pieces, such as brochures, toolkits, holders, convention materials, among others providing layout solutions when requested
Create proofs/schematics for client or design team review, making needed adjustments in response to feedback
Double-check proofs for quality before beginning a print run
Be a good communicator, receive and interpret feedback to deliver on time and according to requirements
Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
Strong knowledge on print systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Knowledge of design, color theory and typography
Printing and binding experience
Full-time onsite availability during the first three months (from 09:30 to 19:00hr)

Ability to apply key visuals to different types of materials following requirements from the brief
Good communication skills and able to coordinate with Onsite/cross functional team
Ability to work in a small team and share different tasks which are pertinent to the organization
