Job Description:

An exceptional opportunity to lead a growing Christian bilingual school. The Principal will be a visionary Christian educator who can inspire, lead, and strategically guide the International Chinese School (ICS), a unique and dynamic K–6 independent school located in St Leonards, NSW, as it enters an exciting phase of growth and development.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the school as it grows from 115 students to 300–400 students
Craft and implement a long-term strategic plan
Champion Chinese language and culture
Manage operations, logistics, staffing, programs, and daily school matters
Ensure compliance with NESA and all regulatory requirements
Support staff development and lift academic and character outcomes
Build partnerships and engage stakeholders

Experienced, qualified & independent school leader
Visionary, strategic & growth-oriented
Commitment to bilingual (English–Mandarin) education
Hands-on, multi-skilled administrator
People-centred leadership & emotional intelligence
Strong governance, compliance & financial acumen
Instructional leadership & educational excellence
Entrepreneurial, innovative & community-focused

Nice to have:

Fluency in Mandarin
Passionate about bilingual learning
