We are searching for a RF Senior Principal Test Engineer with experience in developing automated test software solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work across multiple disciplines and collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Software, and Test Engineers to impact all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle
  • Design and develop test solutions and write test software
  • Assume a full or partial lead role as circumstances dictate
  • Provide accurate technical status to program management or direction to individual contributors
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines as necessary
  • Develop automated test software solutions
  • Develop test hardware according to BAE and industry standards
  • Participate in test solution development life cycle: requirements review, test plan creation, design reviews, coding, integration of test SW with test stands, and sell-off to customers
  • Perform test solution software and hardware integration, debug & troubleshooting

Requirements:

  • BS degree and 4+ years of experience
  • Proficient in National Instruments Test Stand
  • Familiarity with RF test measurement methodology and development with experience automating at least one of the following: S-Parameter measurements, Spectral Measurements, Power Measurements, RF Stimulus
  • Familiarity implementing digital communication protocols with experience automating at least one of the following: MLVDS, RS232/485/422, PCI/PCIe, JTAG, SPI, I2C

Nice to have:

  • BS degree and 8 years of experience or MS degree with 4-6 years’ experience
  • Familiarity with C, C++, C#, VB, Python
  • Keysight Network Analyzers (PNA-X) and Signal/Spectrum Analyzers (MXA, PSA, CXA)
  • PXI based instrumentation
  • Experience with National Instruments FlexRIO (LabVIEW FPGA/VHDL/Verilog a plus)
  • JTAG/Boundary project development in an ATE solution
  • Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
  • Git and Tortoise Git
  • Earned Value and Project Management
  • UNIX, Linux, VxWorks, BASH, VMWare
  • CREO, Cadence, AutoCAD
  • Technical or team leadership
  • Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication
