As a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the Quantum 1st Party Hardware TPM team, you will play a critical leadership role in advancing Microsoft’s quantum hardware infrastructure from research to scalable systems. You will lead and orchestrate complex, cross-functional engineering efforts, shaping the direction of cutting-edge device development and driving execution across internal teams and external partners. This role sits at the intersection of research, engineering, and manufacturing, with opportunities to drive impact in areas such as external fabrication partnerships, system integration, and quality and yield optimization—while reflecting Microsoft’s core values of growth mindset, innovation, and inclusion. We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with a passion for hardware product development, who brings ownership, sound technical judgment, and systems-level thinking. You excel at bringing clarity to complex spaces, aligning diverse stakeholders, and driving end-to-end delivery of scalable solutions for our 1P Quantum stack.
