We're looking for a Principal Systems & Safety Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team. As a Principal Systems & Safety Engineer, you'll play a critical role in our product development process for robots from concept to launch. You will be a key technical voice on product safety and compliance, ensuring our system architecture and design meet and exceed regulatory requirements. This is an opportunity to have a major impact on our products and grow your leadership skills by driving significant improvements in our compliance framework. Please note that this position requires spending approximately 25% of your working time in Tallinn, Estonia.
Job Responsibility:
Driving improvements to our compliance framework
Translating standards into requirements
Analysing system architecture
Conducting technical risk assessments
Contributing to product certifications
Developing validation strategies
Requirements:
Extensive experience in systems engineering, compliance, safety, or a related role
Familiarity with product safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262, UL 3300)
Proven experience writing and managing technical requirements
Strong background in risk assessment methodologies (e.g., FMEA, HARA)
