Job Responsibility
As a Cloud Engineer: management of the platform, networking, security, decision creating golden images for the entire organization
cloud management.
As a DevOps: processes and software development and Lifecyle, pipelines, deployment of apps, monitoring of apps etc
Collaborate with QA and Development teams to improve software development efficiency.
Partner with Systems Engineers to enhance automation and deployment processes.
Focus on lifecycle job automation, continuous process improvements, and monitoring.
Design and implement Kubernetes-based systems and DevOps strategies.
Manage deployment artifacts, testing procedures, and production rollouts.
Contribute to system administration tasks and strategy planning.
Maintain and expand technical documentation to support the knowledge base.
Requirements
7+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer (AWS primarily).
Strong expertise in Kubernetes (networking, security, service mesh solutions like Istio, policies, CNI) and Terraform.
4+ years of extensive experience in Linux System Administration and services around it A-to-Z (RHCE-applicable level, certification NOT required).
Proficiency in Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools used in SDLC.
Experience with storages, clustering, load balancing, server provisioning and management, virtualization.
Skilled in automation with Ansible.
Knowledge of High-Availability patterns and solutions.
Familiarity with ELK stack and Prometheus-Grafana for monitoring and logging.
Broad exposure to various DevOps-related technologies.
Comprehensive understanding of the DevOps lifecycle, including configuration management, orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security practices.
