Job Responsibility:

  • Architect the Microsoft supply chain for custom silicon
  • Drive efficiency and savings for Microsoft via optimized supply chain solutions
  • Manage a complex, cross-functional supply chain project with broad scope and multiple workstreams
  • Manage the performance of a team of vendors from an external supplier, delivering transformation programs
  • Ensure adherence to standards and expectations
  • Identify external and internal software tools to assist the custom silicon supply chain team and streamline operations
  • Monitor program performance, inform strategic decision-making, and provide concise updates to leadership on the progress of transformation programs
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and drive implementation of solutions using established and emerging methodologies
  • Identify operational risks across complex and cross-functional programs with stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies
  • Integrate supply chain transformation activities into Microsoft's efforts in sustainability, improving the carbon footprint of Microsoft's custom silicon

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter
