Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Software Consultant – MuleSoft who will lead the design, development, and delivery of complex integration solutions for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of overall technical experience with deep expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, system integration patterns, and enterprise architecture. This role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to guide customers through end-to-end integration strategies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advanced knowledge of configuration/customization of the platform
  • Ability to propose and devise solutions with little to no code
  • Assisting the Architect and coordinating technical aspect of software development activities including design, architecture, development and implementation of applications
  • Identify and implement opportunities for development process improvement like evaluating and adopting new technologies and platforms, best practices and patterns, creating reusable components & frameworks, etc
  • Provide strategic platform consulting, shaping long-term infrastructure plans that align with clients’ business objectives
  • Act as focal point of contact for technical issues for specific work streams across multiple projects
  • Ensure project delivery on time along with adherence to code and quality standards
  • Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 6-8+ years in software engineering or integration
  • At least 3-4 years specifically in MuleSoft
  • Proficient in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform
  • Strong knowledge of API design, RAML/OAS, and API lifecycle management
  • Expertise in integration patterns, microservices architecture, and data transformation using DataWeave
  • Proficient in error handling and logging frameworks
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and managing Anypoint Platform PCE
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, especially in the context of Red Hat OpenShift, Amazon EKS Anywhere, and Rancher Kubernetes Engine (RKE2)
  • Understanding of Kubernetes cluster requirements and configurations
  • Proficient in using MuleSoft Object Store for data storage and state management
  • Experience with Object Store v2
  • Understanding the best practices for data persistence, retrieval, and management using Object Store
  • Familiarity with security practices related to Object Store
  • Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing Object Store usage
  • Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and hybrid integration solutions
