Principal Software Engineering Manager

The M365 Copilot Development Platform's mission is to provide a world‑class foundation for Copilot by building inferencing services, a compliant data fabric and platform, metrics and training infrastructure, continuous evaluation and other critical AI infrastructure. In this role you will lead a new team of engineers inside the platform that will be responsible for: Establishing shared best practices and paved paths (engineering standards, patterns, processes, and reusable frameworks) that help teams across the platform operate better and ship faster, aligned to the org’s operating principles; Operating without boundaries and in collaboration with other teams, directly implementing new functionality and capabilities across the overall platform surface.
