We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join a client here in Boston. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative AI-driven solutions for the healthcare industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and lead the development of robust, scalable systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create AI-powered solutions tailored for healthcare applications
  • Implement front-end components using React.js to ensure seamless user interactions
  • Optimize system performance and ensure high availability across all deployed solutions
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the development team
  • Lead code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and reliability

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering with attention to detail
  • Strong expertise in backend development, particularly with Node.js and TypeScript
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including React.js and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in software development
  • A proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, high-performance systems
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide other team members
