Principal Software Engineer- Mobile

The Office Android Shared Team powers the shared components and experiences across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on Android. We focus on delivering best-in-class UX, enabling next-gen collaboration, and ensuring business-critical fundamentals—all while driving engagement for millions of users. We at Office Shared Team are looking for creative and driven software engineers with passion for Mobile, and/or full stack development to achieve our vision of redefining the future of office app on Android devices with AI enablement as core priority. As the Principal Software Engineer for Office Shared Team, you will require cross-function integration knowledge, strategic thinking, and superior inter-personal and communication skills. The role is responsible for the overall design and architecture of Mobile apps and around the existing landscape, as well as envisaging and enabling future state infrastructures that will support modern, intelligent services and user experiences, through technological innovation and building partnerships across the company. This position will be directly responsible for driving critical fundamental changes in Office Android Apps to improve performance, reliability and modernizing the application to newer mobile and AI technology.
