We deliver fit for purpose SAP solutions and our services range from greenfield and brownfield implementations, change management to ongoing AMS services and support. As a Principal SAP Analytics Consultant you will lead and work on a variety of SAP Performance Management and Analytics projects as a senior member of our Consulting team. You will take ownership of end-to-end customer engagements from pre-sales through to go-live and post-implementation support. You will work across a number of industries with a strong functional focus on SAC Planning and Datasphere, delivering customer solutions using the latest SAP Analytics technologies. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to combine hands-on delivery, project leadership and customer advisory.

Job Responsibility

  • Act as the lead consultant for SAP Analytics to provide functional, technical and product expert knowledge and guidance to our customers
  • Lead and manage SAP Analytics implementations from pre-sales activities through to go-live and post-go-live support
  • Work closely with customers to analyse requirements, design and develop fit-for-purpose SAP solutions using expert knowledge across SAC Planning, Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Identify potential gaps, conduct workshops with business SME’s and provide solution options and recommendations
  • Configuration of relevant SAP Analytics components including SAC Planning, Datasphere and related integrations
  • Oversee and participate in testing and data migration activities
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation during the post-Go-Live phase
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, estimates and proposals
  • Work with customers to develop their SAP Analytics and Performance Management roadmap to ensure continued alignment with business objectives
  • Mentor and support junior consultants and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery methodologies and documentation

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a commercial subject, ideally Finance or Accounting
  • A minimum of seven years’ experience in a consulting environment, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end project delivery
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAC Planning
  • Experience with Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud
  • Solid SAP Finance knowledge and understanding of finance and planning processes
  • Experience with SAP BW, SAP BPC and SAP BusinessObjects
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, particularly system interfaces, software architecture and data integration
  • Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels with customers, team members and stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project timelines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a proactive and professional approach to consulting
  • Legal right to work in New Zealand

Serve as a subject matter expert for one type of equipment and oversee everyday tasks and troubleshooting within their area of expertise. Have a hands-on understanding of how equipment works within disciplines they have been trained and how to troubleshoot equipment, systems, subsystems, and components independently within their trained discipline(s). Provide and/or assign team to provide necessary escort to third-party contractors, sub contractors, vendors, and service providers on site for all severity leveled procedures. Coordinate and schedule supplier/vendor on-site activities and recognizes circumstances when to stop supplier work to address potential and/or identified concerns.
