Job Description:

Amgen is seeking a Salesforce Security Architect, a position directly related to Amgen’s global deployment of the Salesforce platform. Functioning as a Principal IS Architect, the Salesforce Security Architect provides a critical transformational role focused on safeguarding Amgen’s Salesforce environment. The Salesforce Security Architect will develop security strategy and frameworks, serving as a liaison between Amgen’s Salesforce platform team and IT product teams to ensure robust security enablement, adoption, and alignment with Amgen’s enterprise-wide Salesforce implementation. The Salesforce Security Architect will work as part of the dedicated Salesforce platform team to establish security artifacts such as secure templates and patterns (both theoretical and concrete implementations), and provide technical guidance to Business Analysts, Salesforce developers, and product owners, promoting secure design, reuse, and Salesforce platform security best practices.

Job Responsibility:

  • Shape the security vision for Salesforce programs
  • Build strong relationships with product teams
  • Negotiate and implement solutions to complex security problems
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage security risk areas
  • Review Salesforce releases and roadmaps to assess impacts on security
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex security-related implementation issues
  • Lead the development of application and technical design standards
  • Offer guidance on secure application and integration development best practices

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree and 12 to 15 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 13 to 17 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience OR Diploma and 15 to 20 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience
  • Extensive, hands-on experience architecting and implementing secure solutions on the Salesforce Core Platform, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
  • Salesforce Admin, Advanced Admin, and Platform Builder certifications required
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect is highly desirable
  • Comprehensive understanding of web services, secure data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes through secure technology integration
  • In-depth knowledge of Service Cloud and Sales Cloud capabilities and features
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and securing custom-configured, Lightning applications
  • Salesforce Platform Builder
  • Salesforce Developer 1
  • Salesforce Development Lifecycle Designer
  • Copado Fundamentals I/II (Admin / Developer)

Nice to have:
