The Principal Relationship Manager is responsible for sales, business development, project management, and client management for merchants within assigned industry verticals. Key objectives include driving and protecting incremental revenue, improving market share, and enhancing the customer experience while maximizing profitability against priority goals and initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Growth: Establishing relationships with enablement partners to maximize transaction volume and market share while identifying new internal and external business opportunities
Product & Marketing: Ensuring the implementation of value-added products, broadening our acceptance footprint, and executing marketing initiatives to improve merchant awareness and increase transactions
Operational Excellence: Implementing operational initiatives, ensuring compliance with network change release processes and business practices, and verifying that partners include all appropriate company products in their offerings
Risk & Leadership: Managing and escalating risk or customer-impacting issues to management and providing ongoing coaching and guidance to team members
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 5 years of experience in sales, relationship management, business development, strategy, operations or project management within financial services
Nice to have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Finance
6+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, business development, strategy, operations or project management within financial services
Payments industry experience
