Capital One is looking for a Principal Associate to join our Recruiting Team. This is an exciting opportunity to infuse the organization with talent brokers for Capital One. In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our Talent Acquisition teams and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience. You will be passionate about keeping abreast of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best-in-class recruitment shop.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process. This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One's talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers
  • Source stellar candidates. Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
  • Provide a great end-to-end recruiting experience for candidates and hiring managers
  • Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent
  • Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (i.e., talent marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, referrals, etc.)
  • Consult with hiring managers on their talent needs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, human resources or client consulting experience

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification
  • At least 3 years of experience in Corporate Recruiting – full life cycle, research, and sourcing
  • At least 1 year of experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse HR talent
  • Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
