Principal Property Officer

• Lead the review and risk assessment of departmental property tenure and develop a program of works for implementation
• Provide high-level analysis and due diligence to identify property risks and opportunities
• Develop and streamline property systems and workflows to ensure consistency and compliance
• Deliver sound property, tenure, and planning advice to internal and external stakeholders
• Manage complex property projects using a structured project management approach
• Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders including government departments, councils, and private landholders

• Demonstrated experience in property tenure, leasing, conveyancing, or government land transactions
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to navigate complex property negotiations
• High-level written and research skills, including experience preparing briefs and reports
• Knowledge of Queensland property legislation and policy is highly desirable
• Project management capabilities, with an ability to deliver quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
• Qualifications or experience in property, planning, law, or related fields will be highly regarded but not mandatory
