Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Principal Product Support Specialist to support the delivery of the Battlefield Communications Systems (BCS) franchise. Reporting to the BCS Product Support Development manager you will work within the Battlespace Communications Systems Enterprise to undertake the design, development and maintenance of Support System solutions for Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) programs.
Job Responsibility:
Define support requirements, including costs, technical objectives, definitions, statement of work breakdowns, reports, master schedules, program implementation, and integration plans
Undertake the development, technical review, and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program plans
Implement BCS product support strategies that address all Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to meet customer material and system readiness objectives
Work in partnership with the BCS Chief Engineers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and Program Managers to ensure Mission System Design is aligned with an effective Support System
Identify and implement Support System tools to optimise work performance while fulfilling customer requirements
Mentor and train junior Integrated Product Support team members, ensuring quality checks and process improvements
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years' demonstrated in complex Integrated Logistic Support or Support System environments
Formal qualifications or significant demonstrated experience in delivering successful logistics/support systems analysis for major ASDEFCON Acquisition programs
Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance to several technical teams representing multiple skill areas
Good communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers
Eligibility for an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) Defence Security Clearance
Current Australian Citizenship
Nice to have:
Experience in the estimating, planning, managing and reporting progress of Integrated Logistics Support work scope is desirable
Experience working with Integrated Logistics Support standards
for example, MIL-STD-1388, DEF (AUST) 5691/5692, and GEIA-STD-0007C Logistics Product Data is desirable
