Job Description

Join Microsoft Teams and help shape the future of AI-powered meeting experiences. Microsoft Teams is revolutionizing the way the world works together, serving as the intelligent hub for collaboration for more than 320 million users across organizations of all sizes. Within Teams, the Calling, Meetings, and Devices (CMD) organization includes a team that drives the end-to-end meeting lifecycle through AI-powered experiences. Teams leverages cutting-edge AI to make meeting more effective, productive, and inclusive. Whether by summarizing meetings, enabling real-time translation, or powering multimodal agents that understand voice, video, and context to deliver smarter outcomes. This is a pivotal moment in redefining collaborative productivity and unlocking the new production function for the AI era. We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager for the AI Meetings team. We’re looking for a product leader with deep expertise in LLM-driven agentic experiences, eval-first product development, and proven track record of delivering enterprise AI solutions at scale. The right candidate will have a track record of delivering high-craft end user experiences, strategic thinking at the system level, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement, with clear understanding of developing and delivering AI solutions which are eval-first and model-forward. In this role, you will drive the vision and execution of key AI meeting and agentic scenarios and help define how multimodal AI agents behave in meetings, from intelligent responses and contextual understanding to performance evaluation and iterative improvements that raise the quality of the user experience. You will also serve as the primary DRI for upholding Microsoft’s Responsible AI practices across meeting AI applications, ensuring alignment with core principles such as fairness, reliability and safety, privacy and security, inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability. This opportunity will allow you to shape the future of AI-driven meetings, deepen your expertise in multimodal and responsible AI at scale, and enable non-technical partners to innovate in complex product spaces. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work partially from home, in line with Microsoft’s current hybrid expectations.

  • Drive go-to-market readiness: shape rollout plans, partner with marketing on comms, ensure robust customer support, and anticipate future needs from ongoing feedback & usage
  • Represent the effort within Teams and with partners across Microsoft, providing clarity and advocating for value delivery
  • Represent Microsoft and the product externally with customers and partners
  • Embody our Culture and Values

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience

  • 4+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework)
  • 6+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn)
  • Deep commitment to user experience as the foundation of all decisions, with proven ability to advocate for intuitive, inclusive, and delightful meeting experiences grounded in user research and empathy
  • Excellence in product management, including rigorous prioritization, high‑quality specifications, disciplined roadmap management, high‑velocity execution, and a deep commitment to intuitive, inclusive user experiences grounded in research and empathy
  • Expertise in AI product development, including building AI applications, writing evaluation frameworks, and delivering rapid, customer‑centric outcomes in emerging, fast‑evolving agentic spaces with clarity and focus
  • Strong systems thinking, balancing platform consistency with product flexibility, and communicating complex ideas effectively to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners
  • Proven ability to deliver at scale, including shipping high‑impact end‑user experiences, driving strategic plans, influencing multi‑stakeholder strategies across cultures and geographies, and negotiating at senior levels to enable decisive actions and meaningful business/customer outcomes
