We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead predictive planning and recommendation experiences that help advertisers make smarter budget, bidding, and growth decisions through scalable ML-driven forecasting. This role owns end-to-end product strategy across data, models, and UX, with opportunities to evolve the experience into agentic, LLM-powered workflows that proactively guide advertisers from insight to action. You will operate at product and platform scale, translating complex signals and uncertainty into clear recommendations that drive measurable advertiser outcomes.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap for planning & recommendation products across Microsoft's ad ecosystem
Represent the product to customers, deeply understand their needs, and champion those needs internally
Navigate ambiguity, make tough prioritization decisions, and drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders
Partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes
Collaborate with Data Science and ML teams to leverage insights and models that power forecasting, scenario planning, and actionable recommendations for advertisers, while upholding responsible use of data and brand trust at scale
Lead go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales, ensuring product launches drive adoption, transparency, and measurable advertiser impact
Establish Microsoft as a leader in responsible advertising by shaping internal practices and influencing industry standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
6+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework)
8+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn)
8+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product)
5+ years experience developing digital advertising products, especially on the demand/buying side platform
