We are seeking a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead the AI and Android Engineering Systems charter within ES365. This role will drive developer productivity, compliance, and modernization of build and automation infrastructure for Android development across Microsoft 365 apps along with leveraging AI to improve every aspect of developer journey.

Define and execute the roadmap for Android engineering systems, balancing KTLO, compliance, and DevEx investments
Partner with Android app teams (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Loop, Union) to understand pain points and deliver scalable solutions
Lead initiatives such as Maven support, Hilt enablement, Android 13 migration, and automation infrastructure improvements
Drive compliance initiatives such as Play store requirements and SFI wave completion
Collaborate with global stakeholders to align engineering standards and best practices
Mentor and guide a team of PMs and engineers to deliver high-impact outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
OR equivalent experience
1+ year(s) people management experience
8+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in platform or developer tooling roles
Hands on experience of leveraging AI for improving developer experience
Deep understanding of Android build systems, CI/CD, and developer workflows
Solid program management skills to drive cross-team execution
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in technical feature design and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
Detail oriented and able to rapidly come up to speed on complex technologies and architectures
Excellent cross group collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to lead virtual teams to deliver on product milestones
Self-motivated and self-directed
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
