Integrate a security-centric mindset into every phase of the hardware lifecycle and lead the development of next-generation hardware that delivers unprecedented protection
Spearhead a hardware-accelerated strategy that performs full-stack inspection and advanced threat prevention at line rate, ensuring world-class security is never a bottleneck for performance
Develop and execute a forward-looking hardware portfolio strategy optimized for AI Data Centers, with a keen eye on industry trends that shape where and how hardware firewalls are placed within evolving AI fabrics
Conduct rigorous analysis into high-performance network security architectures, scrutinizing complex deployment models and hardware-accelerated features to push the technology spectrum for next-generation devices
Define and simplify complex scale parameters—including throughput, session density, and latency—to create clear guidelines that help customers accurately right-size their deployments for predictable performance
Leverage AIOps, telemetry, and enhanced visibility tools to gather critical insights into hardware performance and component reliability, translating this data into tangible product innovations and business justifications
Integrate AI-driven tools and workflows into your daily product management practice to accelerate documentation cycles, automate trend analysis, and increase overall operational efficiency
Maintain a primary concentration on release quality and system stability from silicon conceptualization through strategic pricing, ensuring all hardware revisions meet the highest industry standards
Act as a critical reviewer of datasheets and technical documentation, partnering with Technical Marketing to ensure external messaging is accurate, impactful, and technically sound
Proactively partner with Customer Support and Engineering to resolve complex technical escalations and navigate ambiguous, high-pressure situations to provide the highest level of customer experience
Own the business health of your segment by applying meticulous metrics for forecasting, ROI analysis, and margin management while collaborating with S&OP for long-term component viability
Represent the NetSec BU in executive QBRs, industry webinars, and technical summits to foster strong relationships with valued customers and strategic partners
Spearhead hardware-level integrations with strategic technology partners to ensure seamless interoperability while overseeing the successful attainment of critical global certifications—including FIPS, Common Criteria, and NEBS
Requirements:
10+ years of experience leading complex hardware product lines through the full NPI (New Product Introduction) lifecycle
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Deep understanding of ASIC, FPGA, and xPUs and how they offload security functions without compromising throughput
Proven expertise in defining hardware specs for high-density environments, featuring a deep knowledge of High-Speed Ethernet standards and a comprehensive understanding of Optics and Transceiver technology
Extensive knowledge of AI Data Center architectures, Enterprise, and Service Provider (SP) environments, including Mobile Gateway (5G/EPC) requirements, and core protocols like BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and VXLAN
Experience managing COGS, power envelopes, and physical form factors to meet modern data center efficiency and margin requirements
A proven ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, making high-stakes decisions with incomplete data to drive projects forward
Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between engineering discussions and executive strategy, working closely with Technical Marketing to translate hardware capabilities into compelling technical content
