Join our team responsible for managing critical products essential to Zalando's continuous growth in the Size & Fit area. Collaborate with fashion experts, product managers, analysts, engineers, and applied scientists to tackle some of the most complex challenges in the fashion industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance our customers' experience by enabling them to find the right size and fit on their first attempt, through collaborating with our partners and internal teams. You will drive foundational work in the fit space, ensuring seamless interaction among different products and a deep understanding of their relation to our assortment and customer mix. This will require a strong alignment with our Supply, Partners and internal teams to elevate the interaction between our size and fit advice products and our assortment. Moreover, you will be able to influence the development of mechanisms for acquiring quality data and support partners and internal teams in making informed size and fit decisions throughout the customer journey and assortment lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Focus on scaling innovative and disruptive customer facing experiences such as scaling and improving the virtual fitting room experiences that involve avatar based 3D experiences
  • Use a highly-customer-centric and analytical mindset to build a compelling vision of the future
  • Work backwards from this vision to construct a narrative for how we’ll solve customer problems and realise Zalando’s opportunities
  • Build a strong understanding of customers’ return behaviour and identify opportunities and execute on them end-to-end
  • Provide easy-to-understand solutions to multi-faceted and complex problems based on an in-depth understanding of relevant data and analysis techniques
  • Identify and execute on business opportunities, working closely within a multiple disciplinary team and different commercial stakeholders
  • Backup your intuition, ideas and decisions through data-driven insights, a high degree of customer empathy and a thorough understanding of market specific trends and customer behaviour
  • Define priorities and drive actions to achieve goals with guidance from your stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multi stakeholders across different disciplines such as applied science, engineering, product design, analytics, business as well as other disciplines across the company and become a trusted sparring partner to the team members of the different disciplines

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management
  • Preferably data driven and/or computer vision driven products
  • Experience working with products related to fashion development or in the fashion industry is a plus
  • Commercial background and accustomed to interpreting financial metrics, identifying commercial opportunities and working with different senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to execute complete end-to-end product management for highly innovative and disruptive products
  • Maximise medium- to long-term impact with available resources based on understanding the company's strategy, commercial KPIs
  • Solid and nuanced understanding of evolving customer expectations, pain points, and the overall digital and physical experiences surrounding fashion and fitting
  • Demonstrated expertise in solving complex problems at scale and in navigating through uncertainties
  • Track record of delivering products that require deep understanding of trade-offs between usability, technical and operational feasibility, market readiness, and business constraints
  • Solid experience in measuring the success of your products across large scale releases
  • Ability to write documents and clearly communicate in simple and easy to understand language for a broad audience
