Job Responsibility:

  • Drive product areas end-to-end within Microsoft Defender for Cloud, including building vision and strategy, define roadmap, help define business model and marketing messages and drive execution for successful results
  • Define features and own their backlog, works with Software Engineering (SWE) and design teams to align on tradeoffs, and partners with Product Marketing on the disclosure of the roadmap and outbound communication
  • Analyze customer and market signals to identify customers’ unmet or unknown needs and market opportunities for enhancements or development of multiple feature areas
  • Collaborate with others to identify the potential customer segments and investment opportunities. Evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritizes investments in consultation with cross-functional partner
  • Work closely and build trust with customers to help direct product roadmap and improve customer experience
  • Drive business impact across the organization and track success criteria and performance metrics. Be data driven with ongoing analysis of usage data
  • Communicate clearly about projects, risks, and accomplishments on behalf of the team
  • Guide and mentor other team members

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Proven track-record delivering software products/services to market

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge in architecture and design of scalable and high-performance cloud services
  • Devops /cloud operations experience
  • Team player, confident, independent, and enthusiastic!
  • Experienced working with customers. Great listener - deep customer empathy and ability to identify customer needs
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills in English
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical equivalent, MBA
