Job Description

The Audience and Identity Platform team is responsible for building the foundational systems that power audience targeting, personalization, and data activation across Microsoft Ads. These platforms and services enable advertisers and internal product teams to reach the right users with the right content at the right time. As a Principal Product Manager - Audience Platform & Modeling, you’ll be responsible for understanding user and business needs, defining clear requirements, and driving execution across engineering, design, and partner teams. This role will define how audiences are created, modeled, and activated across Microsoft AI properties and advertising surfaces. You will work at the intersection of identity, machine learning, and large-scale data systems to unlock intelligent audience capabilities that drive measurable impact for advertisers and enable richer personalization experiences across Microsoft products. This is a high-impact role requiring deep product leadership, solid technical understanding of data platforms and machine learning systems, and the ability to drive cross-organization alignment across engineering, data science, sales, and partner teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Microsoft’s Ads audience platform powering ads targeting and personalization
  • Build scalable infrastructure that enables audiences to be defined once and activated across multiple surfaces including search, native, display, video, and gaming
  • Partner with data science and applied research teams to design and launch machine learning–based audience models that improve reach, relevance, and advertiser performance
  • Drive experimentation and evaluation frameworks to measure audience quality, performance lift, and coverage
  • Establish best practices for experimentation, customer feedback loops, and data-driven product development across the audience platform team

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of identity resolution, audience modeling, and data activation in advertising ecosystems
  • Solid analytical mindset with experience using data and experimentation to guide product decisions
  • 4+ years experience in building advertising audience and/ or identity solutions
  • Excellent communication — able to translate technical and economic concepts into executive language
