Finding clothes that truly fit is one of the biggest challenges in e-commerce fashion and the Size & Fit team is on a mission to address it. We create game-changing solutions that help Zalando’s 50+ million customers find the right fit through innovation, science, and by delivering great customer experiences. Our aim is to close the gap between textile manufacturers and customers because the magic happens when comprehensive fashion assortment knowledge meets deep customer understanding. Our multidisciplinary team brings together applied scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, analysts, business developers and fashion experts working across Berlin and Zurich. As a Berlin-based Principal Product Designer, this role spans across Size & Fit as well as Proposition teams. The Proposition Teams create unique experiences for specific Zalando assortments like Sports, Beauty, Kids, Recommerce, and Designer, requiring deep customer understanding to enhance category credibility. Within Size & Fit, you'll improve the customer experience by helping them find the right size and fit initially, collaborating with internal and external partners. You will drive foundational fit work, ensuring seamless product interaction, considering our assortment and customer diversity. You lead the Virtual Fitting Room experience, using your UX/UI skills to let customers try on clothes with personalized avatars. This makes online shopping more inspiring and physical-like. You will also enable customers to choose the best fit with personalized size advice. Working across disciplines and levels, your contributions will help millions confidently choose the right size, reducing returns, and contributing to a more sustainable and inclusive fashion future.
