Job Description:

The Federal Solution Architect - Cleared will be responsible for supporting a federal agency in Maryland, with on-site meetings in the Washington DC area 2-3 times per week. This role involves solution design, presales strategy, pipeline development, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The architect will contribute to high-value technical and business proposals while staying updated on technology trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Job Responsibility:

Demonstrates unique mastery within the company in one or more solution domains
Orchestrates the design of complex proposals to deliver tangible business value to customers
Mitigates risk to the company by managing both customer and company stakeholder expectations
Provides input to all global business units to address key end-customer IT trends
Leads the team to develop and present outcome-based solutions to customer business challenges
Communicates HPE’s solution value propositions in the language of the customer
Proactively builds the pipeline by identifying opportunities within the account
Monitors the account pipeline and nurtures active deals
Engages with and builds consultative presence with VPs, CxO, and LOB management

Requirements:

TS/SCI clearance required
Must possess extensive knowledge of customer's mission and requirements and understand competitive landscape
Advanced degree in technology or related field preferred, or equivalent technical qualifications
2+ years of experience supporting sales, and end users to build or develop technical enterprise solutions
12+ years of technical experience in IT with a focus on technical consulting and solution selling
2+ Industry standard relevant technology certifications or equivalent experience expected
Enterprise architecture frameworks and project management methodologies and certifications are helpful, but not required

Nice to have:

Unique mastery and experience leading solution configurations and overall architecture design
Creating, managing, and positioning demos and proofs-of-concept (POC) to meet customer requirements
Unique mastery with expertise and deep working knowledge with the as-a-service (aaS) business model
Exceptional storytelling and consultative selling skills
Knowledge of TCO/ROI concepts and calculations, and financial models
