Job Responsibility:
Lead Strategic Development: Take ownership of the end-to-end policy life cycle, from deep-dive research and legislative analysis to the creation of final briefing materials
Influence Outcomes: Utilise high-level negotiation skills to align diverse stakeholder interests and secure buy-in on critical policy and practice issues
Uphold Excellence: Drive the quality and consistency of branch outputs by developing high-standard resources and mentor ship frameworks
Manage Complexity: Oversee complex projects from inception to completion, proactively managing risks and expectations in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
Evidence-Based Analysis: Demonstrated ability to research and critically analyse policy issues to identify legislative solutions that are evidence-based and fit for purpose
Project Leadership: Extensive experience managing and coordinating projects to completion, including establishing priorities, meeting deadlines, and obtaining executive approval
Legislative Application: High-level experience in applying key concepts and principles of legislation when developing robust policy responses
Strategic Communication: Proven ability to deliver quality written products (including policies and procedures) and provide professional advice to diverse audiences
