Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote. If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership. If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

Job Responsibility

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align platform strategies with business objectives
  • Define best practices & standards, guide team to ensure adherence to standards
  • Provides support on architectural design and maintenance of the platform’s (COTS, SaaS, ERP) environment with distributed components
  • Ensures compliance with the organization's requirements through the implementation of, auditing of, and adherence to policies, procedures, and security standards
  • Plans software upgrades, patching, & plugin installations in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Monitors performance, resolves problems, & manages component capacity issues
  • Design, test, develop, configure, & maintain integrations to platform’s applications
  • Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
  • Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, & debugging
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments to communicate statuses & technical proposal
  • Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs
  • Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, maintain the platform applications to meet company requirements
  • Performs other duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
  • 6+ years of experience in release practices and environments or other related experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Design of scalable declarative solutions using Flows, validation rules, assignment rules, and approval processes without custom code
  • Architectural Design for Platform Deployment
  • Strategy for Platform Scalability and Growth
  • Deep Expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem, including Platform Limitations and Workarounds
  • Best Practices and Governance for Platform Configuration
  • Leadership in Platform Upgrade and Migration Strategies
  • Lead medium projects
