Job Description

Principal Performer for LaplandUK, an immersive theatrical experience mixing scripted shows and improvised interactions. The role involves performing in a 4/5 hour family experience exploring an ancient Elven civilisation, requiring significant stamina and flexibility. Performers work on a 3 days on, 3 days off schedule, delivering approximately 12 performances a day.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver scripted performances and improvised interactions
  • Honour the material and adhere to scripted elements consistently
  • Maintain performance quality and stamina across 21 tours per day
  • Balance repetition with a fresh, natural delivery
  • Undertake duties integral to the guest journey and multisensory nature of the show
  • Work with Wardrobe and WHAM teams to care for costumes and wigs
  • Fulfill technical functions like triggering cues and resetting props
  • Follow the script thoroughly while injecting appropriate energy

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be prepared to travel or relocate to Ascot or the surrounding area (for London location) or Macclesfield or the surrounding area (for Manchester location)
  • Must be available for all Rehearsal, Tech, Dress and Live Show Dates, between September – December
  • Must have been a Principal Performer in 2025
