As a Principal Underground Mining Consultant, you'll deliver top-tier consulting services, collaborate with international experts, and lead teams to ensure projects are executed with excellence, within budget, and on schedule.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expert technical advice and oversight
  • Conduct mining studies (Scoping, Pre-feasibility & Feasibility)
  • Author and peer-review technical reports
  • Mentor staff and oversee project contractors
  • Drive business improvements and support business development activities
  • Prepare proposals and contracts
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, working with professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mining engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 12+ years of underground mining experience
  • Proficiency in Mine Planning software (Deswik preferred)
  • Experience in managing technical projects and stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Ability to work independently or within teams
  • Strong financial management skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Consulting experience is highly regarded
  • Legal Work Entitlement within Australia
