We’re growing and looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to help lead what comes next for Republic. This is more than a senior technical role, it’s a leadership position with real influence. As Principal, you will shape the direction of our mechanical practice, lead projects across Canada, mentor and grow a talented team, and contribute at the highest level of design within an integrated, multi-disciplinary studio. You’ll sit at the table alongside other Principals and the C-Suite, guiding strategy, culture, and growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Mentor and grow a high-performing mechanical team
  • Lead the design and delivery of mechanical systems for both new construction and complex renovations
  • Collaborate closely with architects and other disciplines to drive integrated design solutions
  • Oversee projects from early concept through construction, ensuring quality, clarity, and performance

Requirements

  • Professional Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) designation with strong leadership skills
  • 10+ years of related experience in mechanical building systems design
  • Experience with Revit MEP is an asset
