Be a ‘seller-doer’ by leading business development activities to find and build client relationships and win projects
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and consultants to design mechanical systems that meet project requirements, codes, and healthcare-specific standards
Develop HVAC and plumbing systems designs using Revit and other industry-standard tools
Perform load calculations, energy modeling, equipment selection, and system sizing specific to healthcare facilities
Prepare and oversee construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
Participate in client meetings and site visits to review progress, resolve issues, and provide construction phase support
Ensure mechanical system designs meet ASHRAE, NFPA, FGI, and state/local healthcare codes
Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers within the mechanical team
Support project budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
Adhere to the Company’s code of professional ethics
Maintain Company quality standards to ensure the best possible service for clients
Take a Mechanical project from start to finish, either individually or by running a team
Be the leader in the development of engineering and BIM design and documentation

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical system modeling tools (e.g., Trane Trace, EnergyPlus, or similar)
In-depth understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA 99, FGI Guidelines, and healthcare HVAC and plumbing system requirements
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
Healthcare-related certifications such as ASHRAE HFDP, ASSE 6060, CHC, or Legionella Management Specialist are highly preferred
What we offer:
High compensation with a profit/bonus accountability system
