Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client focused Mechanical Engineering Technical expert to join our Pioneer team in Malaysia, to play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects locally and regionally. Working across a variety of sectors such as Data Centres, Hotel and Hospitality, Commercial and Retail, you will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects. You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects locally and regionally
  • Work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects
  • Over time assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as professional skills develop

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng or BEng or equivalent)
  • Having gained broad experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems etc)
  • Proven technical expertise in relevant design software including Revit, IES, CYMAP and/or Hevacomp
  • Portfolio of experience demonstrating quality and client focussed approach
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Data Center and Critical Systems experience will be highly advantageous
