Job Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join the team in Bengaluru office, and play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the MENA region and internationally.

Job Responsibility:

Play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for building projects in the MENA region and internationally
Work on a variety of projects with leading developers and clients
Take a lead role in delivering projects whilst managing other discipline engineers across different offices
Work closely with colleagues of various disciplines and external third-party consultants to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects
Analyse problems and produce designs to solve them, with the ability to make decisions in high-stress situations
Develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships
Use expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers
Assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy over time
Be supported towards Chartership.

Requirements:

Educated to degree level in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
Substantial experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within a building services context
Extensive portfolio of experience demonstrating familiarity with high quality engineering solutions and a client-focussed approach
Extensive experience in report writing, skills and specifications as per project requirements
Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and less experienced engineers
Sound knowledge of Revit/Navisworks/BIM 360 platform for documentations
Proven experience for creative, sustainable, and intuitive design
Experience in resource planning and supporting the project manager in costing
Sound knowledge in MS projects and power point
Excellent communication and project management skills
At least 10 years’ experience
First-hand experience on Middle East projects
Comprehensive understanding of Middle East local authority regulations
Hands on experience of leading mechanical designs in sectors including commercial offices, retail, shopping malls, education, hospitality, healthcare etc.
