Job Description:

We are recruiting for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. As a technical expert to you will be required to provide engineering advice to a range of minerals processing projects and their engineering teams across various commodities. This role will be based from our Osborne Park head office initially however by the end of 2026 we will be relocating to our new Head Office on St Georges Tce, Perth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure compliance of project design products with the Design Procedure
  • Ensure design products comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements
  • Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project schedule and budget
  • Provide advice and expertise to the design progress, issues, holds, change, risk, and deliverables register
  • Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects, including, cost, constructability, operability, and maintainability

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ years' experience in minerals processing design
  • Demonstrated experience as a Design Engineer delivering minerals processing projects
  • Proven ability to provide technical expertise to engineering teams
  • Detailed understanding of multi-discipline design delivery within the minerals processing sector
  • Solid understanding of statutory and industry regulations and HSE practices
  • Knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles, and practices
  • Advanced level of expertise with engineering technical detail
  • Demonstrated planning and organisation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to continued professional development
  • Strong work ethic
