The Principal, Operational Excellence will play a critical role in ensuring operational readiness for new product launches and market entries. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, strategic partner management, and a focus on building scalable operational infrastructure to support commercialization efforts while driving process and cost efficiency across the enterprise.
Job Responsibility:
Support launch readiness preparation for portfolio products entering new markets
Collaborate with the commercial team to understand aspirations, go-to-market strategies, and identify necessary operational infrastructure for product commercialization
Lead the partner selection process in collaboration with procurement and commercial teams
Drive cross-functional alignment on service requirements and service level definitions based on go-to-market strategies
Act as alliance manager with strategic partners during launch readiness preparation and hyper-care phases
Lead implementation of operations services provided by partners in collaboration with in-house operations functions
Collaborate closely with internal support functions across the operations enterprise, including logistics, supply chain, quality assurance (QA), and lab operations, to ensure seamless execution
Ensure operational strategies and processes are aligned with global standards while addressing regional needs
Contribute to the optimization of the existing playbook for operations launch readiness and product expansion
Champion process improvement initiatives and cost efficiency objectives to strengthen operational performance and scalability
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or business process management, ideally within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or consumer health industries
Proven track record in launch readiness and market entry operations
Strong experience managing external partners and alliances
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders across commercial, procurement, and operations functions
Experience collaborating with logistics, supply chain, QA, and lab operations teams
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English
