Job Description:

This position offers an opportunity to join a specialist Pipeline Group supporting global pipelay projects, with responsibility for coordinating and leading a team of installation engineers. The role involves delivering engineering solutions for complex offshore pipeline installation assignments from early engagement through to offshore execution. Technical leadership and project delivery experience are essential for success in this position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead or support teams of method engineers to deliver on project scope from initial client engagement through to execution offshore
  • Act as a technical reference in the discipline of pipeline installation, contributing to sub-contractor selection and technical resolution
  • Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities, and ensure effective subcontract follow-up
  • Conduct installation rigging calculations and develop rigging designs as required by project deliverables
  • Assist the tendering department with feasibility studies, preparation of method statements, estimating manhours, input to schedules, and commercial costing
  • Oversee procurement, fabrication, and testing of installation aids required for project execution
  • Provide regular operational input, technical presentations, and support the team in reporting engineering activities for the project
  • Follow assigned project scopes offshore, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and technical delivery
