The Principal GTM Finance Strategist team member will be a strategic partner to Go-to-Market executives and play a critical role in supporting Sales and Marketing teams. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will play a pivotal role in managing high-profile projects, providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and operational support to drive revenue growth and optimize financial performance.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Financial Advisor, working collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing Ops teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
Develop a deep understanding of the Enterprise Sales funnel and build financial models to evaluate sales and marketing initiatives, ROI on campaigns, and customer lifetime value
Leverage expertise in subscription / SaaS businesses to improve ARR analysis and modeling
Partner with Sales Operations to drive global quota capacity planning across roles and regions based on sales productivity metrics
Steer the GTM strategy by delivering actionable financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive revenue growth
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational rigor
Assist in the preparation of board presentations and other executive-level reports
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
MBA preferred
8+ years of experience in finance or sales operations, preferably in a SaaS company
Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and financial planning
Analytical skills: Deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and SaaS metrics
Finance minded with strong operational focus to drive process, systems, and execution in a scalable and repeatable way
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, including simplifying and distilling complex business information into actionable insights
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
In-depth knowledge of Financial Planning Software, Salesforce, Xactly, and Clari
