Job Description

The Principal GTM Finance Strategist team member will be a strategic partner to Go-to-Market executives and play a critical role in supporting Sales and Marketing teams. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this position will play a pivotal role in managing high-profile projects, providing financial insights, strategic guidance, and operational support to drive revenue growth and optimize financial performance.

Job Responsibility

  • Strategic Financial Advisor, working collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing Ops teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Enterprise Sales funnel and build financial models to evaluate sales and marketing initiatives, ROI on campaigns, and customer lifetime value
  • Leverage expertise in subscription / SaaS businesses to improve ARR analysis and modeling
  • Partner with Sales Operations to drive global quota capacity planning across roles and regions based on sales productivity metrics
  • Steer the GTM strategy by delivering actionable financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive revenue growth
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive operational rigor
  • Assist in the preparation of board presentations and other executive-level reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in finance or sales operations, preferably in a SaaS company
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and financial planning
  • Analytical skills: Deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and SaaS metrics
  • Finance minded with strong operational focus to drive process, systems, and execution in a scalable and repeatable way
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, including simplifying and distilling complex business information into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • In-depth knowledge of Financial Planning Software, Salesforce, Xactly, and Clari
