Ninyo & Moore, a SOCOTEC Company has an immediate opening for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer in the Houston, Texas office. The candidate will serve as the Principal-in-Charge of projects and will direct, review, and oversee projects and provide guidance to engineering staff.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the Principal-in-Charge of projects
  • Direct, review, and oversee projects
  • Provide guidance to engineering staff
  • Select project managers for projects and direct and assist the project manager throughout project duration
  • Interface with clients and attend meetings, as necessary
  • Assume technical responsibility for project components
  • Provide technical assistance to project managers and engineering staff

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • M.S. Degree in geotechnical engineering is preferred
  • Licensed professional engineer in Texas
  • Over 10 years of related experience
  • Well-rounded background in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Track record of successful client relationship and service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
