Job Description

As a Principal Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will be responsible for financial forecasting, reporting and presentation, financial modeling, and relationship building. You will manage P&L performance and provide our Corporate Bank leadership team with financial insights to influence and drive to business outcomes. You will support the Corporate Bank by managing the top-of-house story for the full volumes and P&L of the business, in addition to supporting the leader of the Corporate Bank. The role is also in support of the SIG (Strategic Investments Group) business owning a shadow P&L that not only impacts the Corporate Bank, but impacts our Commercial Real Estate business as well.

Job Responsibility

  • Ownership of budgeting and forecasting for areas of responsibility
  • Deliver accurate and meaningful financial management analyses to enable our partners to deliver on their financial and business objectives
  • contribute to, and deliver, presentations to communicate results, outcomes and actions to senior audiences
  • Provide transparency on risks and opportunities at the total Corporate Bank level
  • Address and deliver on ad-hoc requests and special projects, often in an ambiguous environment
  • Independently manage and prioritize workload
  • Oversee more junior analysts on the team
  • Demonstrate a passion to learn and continuously develop traditional FP&A and technical skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination

Nice to have

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
  • At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or a combination
  • At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis, financial modeling, or a combination
