Job Description

Our client is seeking a senior-level Principal Experience Designer to lead the design of intuitive, high-quality digital products for a modern technology platform. This role focuses on defining end-to-end user experiences and translating complex requirements into clear, elegant solutions. This is a long-term contract opportunity working closely with cross-functional partners to deliver customer-facing tools at scale.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead visual and interaction design across multiple digital products
  • Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
  • Collaborate with engineering to bring designs into production
  • Establish and apply consistent design patterns and standards
  • Contribute to and maintain a shared design system
  • Guide design work from concept through launch
  • Partner with creative and product leadership to influence direction

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in designing digital products, particularly for consumer-facing applications
  • A strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated UI designs, UX expertise, and high-quality visual execution
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and similar tools, with a proven track record of contributing to or building design systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to incorporate feedback seamlessly
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to address scalability and complex design challenges
  • Experience delivering design solutions for large-scale projects, including advocating for design at leadership levels
