We are looking for a Principal Experience Designer to lead the creation of refined, user-centered digital experiences for a suite of tools that helps homebuyers explore and personalize their future homes. Based in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, this Long-term Contract position will shape intuitive, high-end interfaces that simplify complex choices while reflecting a premium brand identity. This role blends strategic design thinking with hands-on execution, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver effective product experiences at scale.
Job Responsibility
Lead the visual and interaction design of customer-facing product experiences, ensuring every interface aligns with established brand and design system standards
Work closely with engineering and cross-functional partners to turn concepts into well-executed digital solutions that are ready for implementation
Develop end-to-end design artifacts, including user journeys, wireframes, detailed mockups, and high-fidelity screens that support both customer needs and business objectives
Expand and refine reusable patterns that improve consistency, clarity, and ease of use across the platform
Strengthen and evolve the broader design system by contributing thoughtful components, guidance, and standards
Oversee design deliverables throughout the full project lifecycle, from early discovery and concept development through final handoff
Collaborate with creative leadership to craft a cohesive premium experience across all touchpoints within the product suite
Apply strategic thinking to solve complex design challenges and support scalable solutions across large product initiatives
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience designing digital products, with a strong preference for work on consumer-oriented experiences
A portfolio that demonstrates shipped work, sophisticated problem-solving, and a high level of excellence in both UI and UX design
Advanced proficiency with Figma and similar design tools, including practical experience using and contributing to design systems
Deep expertise in visual design, usability, and creating intuitive interfaces for complex digital products
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and produce high-quality work in fast-paced environments
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to incorporating feedback from partners and stakeholders
Ability to think strategically, design for scale, and influence product direction in partnership with senior leadership
