Job Description

This role will be accountable of the Environmental programs, such as Air, water (SPCC and MSGP), Asbestos, lead and refrigerant.

Job Responsibility

  • Leads the Air, water (SPCC and MSGP), lead, asbestos and refrigerant Programs. Interacts with regulatory agencies (DRNA, EPA). Ensure compliance with company policy and regulations (DNER, EPA)
  • Assists the Director of EHSS in the implementation and execution of the Air, water, lead, asbestos and refrigerant Programs
  • Develops strategies to further improve environmental programs
  • Coordinate and facilitate Environmental regulatory and corporate trainings, Provides input on design reviews and regulatory support to operating personnel
  • Responsible for the tracking and monitoring of the incident management and investigation system
  • Reviews and endorses Management of Changes. Evaluates governmental rules and regulations changes and advise on their application
  • Develops Environmental metrics and measurements
  • Responsible for the CAPA system through Trackwise or equivalent database and Accident/Incident Investigation Program. Conducts EHSS Assessments including but not limited to Change Controls, Validations, Commitments, Projects, and Shutdowns

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science Related Field required
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Basic cGMP knowledge
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP, FDA & EHSS regulations
  • Strong OSHA & EHHS knowledge
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Knowledgeable on chemical processes and equipment (Chemical Plants)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Project management knowledge/skills
  • Technical writing & reporting skills
