Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Principal Enterprise Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of our enterprise ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical execution, leveraging your expertise in .NET, React, and API design to build scalable, secure solutions. As a key leader, you will champion architecture best practices, mentor engineering teams, and integrate AI-driven development tools to enhance enterprise-wide code quality.

Job Responsibility:

  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business goals
  • Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to evaluate and approve new solution designs
  • Standardize design patterns, ensuring consistency and resilience across all enterprise applications
  • Oversee full-stack development, specifically focusing on .NET (C#) backends and React frontends
  • Design and govern RESTful and event-driven APIs to ensure seamless system interoperability
  • Modernize legacy systems using cloud-native patterns and microservices
  • Implement Security-by-Design, ensuring compliance with P&C insurance industry regulations
  • Optimize systems for high availability, scalability, and observability
  • Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development and modern DevOps pipelines to boost productivity
  • Enforce high code-quality standards (SOLID, Clean Architecture, and automated testing)
  • Act as a technical consultant to business stakeholders and product owners
  • Mentor senior developers and architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence
  • Translate complex technical roadmaps into actionable guidance for non-technical leadership

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as an Enterprise or Solution Architect in large-scale environments
  • Deep, hands-on experience with .NET/C# and React
  • Strong background in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry
  • Expert knowledge of API design, microservices, and event-driven architecture
  • Exceptional leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice to have:

  • Cloud platform expertise (Azure or AWS)
  • Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and automation
  • Background in modernizing monolithic legacy applications
  • Master's degree preferred
