Job Description

As a Principal Account Manager at Adyen, you will manage our most significant and complex enterprise merchants by building deep relationships with VP to C-level executives and key stakeholders. You are a strategic thinker with profound payments expertise, passionate about leveraging your commercial acumen to drive global business growth. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft and implement tailored commercial strategies, secure new business, and close complex deals.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • A minimum of 15 years in a senior client-facing, commercial role, such as account management, consulting, partnerships, or payments industry experience from the merchant side
  • At least 12 years of demonstrated expertise in both Enterprise and Payments sectors, with a proven record of leading high-stakes negotiations and managing global strategic accounts
  • Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English
  • Some domestic and international travel is required
