Job Description:

Lead a high-quality engineering team to run, manage and improve the core DDA platform as part of Citi's multi-year transformation effort to simplify and modernize its legacy core banking platform. The DDA platform will provide account management and transaction processing capabilities for Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) business globally.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the Citi DDA engineering team working alongside the selected DDA solution provider team to enhance, manage and run the DDA platform
Engage with other Citi Product Owners, Architects and squad members within the transformation program to understand the APIs and events to be provided by DDA platform
Coordinate with DDA solution provider to ensure DDA requirements and on-going enhancements are delivered on-time and with quality
Interact and co-ordinate with DDA solution provider peer squads and downstream squads like security, SRE, Data
Manage and inspire a high-quality team of engineers
Lead the implementation of DDA in line with the market roll out strategy

Requirements:

Notable skill for establishing rapport and credibility with product owners and technical architects
Strong engineering team management capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Significant experience in managing high-speed feature development on AWS
Java (non-negotiable)
Strong knowledge of Distributed transactions, Kafka (non-negotiable)
AWS knowledge including S3, EC2, EBS, VPC, SQS, SNS
Strong knowledge of Flink, Spark
Strong architecture knowledge of modern cloud-based development frameworks including microservices, APIs, CI-CD frameworks, data streaming
MySQL, DynamoDB, NoSQL
REST APIs (non-negotiable)
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Mobile development frameworks (Angular, React)
Ability to set up and manage a CI-CD pipeline

Nice to have:

Experience with cloud native core banking solutions
Experience with modernization of core banking platforms
