Principal Engineer

The products our portfolio include Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure PostgreSQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, and Power BI. Within Azure Data, the Microsoft Fabric platform team builds and maintains the operating system and provides customers a unified data stack to run an entire data estate. The platform provides a unified experience, unified governance, enables a unified business model and a unified architecture. We are looking for a Principal Engineer who will report to the Director of Fabric Core Platform team. The Core Fabric Platform team is responsible for all Compute infrastructure of Microsoft Fabric. This engineer will be working closely with feature teams within the Fabric Core Platform team to tech lead and develop projects related to high scale and resiliency. This person may act as an architect for some areas of the product as well. Experience with high scale high throughput service is required. Experience with Azure technologies is a plus. Experience with AI is a plus as a lot of the focus of this developer will be on AI. We do not just value differences or different perspectives.
