As a Principal Engineer within the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization, you will play a critical role in delivering complex, high-impact projects that support the manufacture of life-saving medical products worldwide.
Job Responsibility
Identify and evaluate total cost optimization opportunities across materials, components, and processes across ITP sites with specific focus on insourcing, alternate sourcing and process & product value engineering
Perform structured should-cost, clean-sheet, and teardown analyses
Lead a cross functional technical team through the planning and execution of projects using various engineering and scientific techniques, procedures and criteria
Building accurate schedules, driving and interfacing with a core team, and guiding technical support groups
Support change control processes, validation, and implementation (e.g., cut-in planning)
Facilitate cross functional Continuous Improvement, Kaizen and Cost Optimization events to generate and prioritize ideas
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience having a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (Mechanical, Materials, Plastics, Chemicals, Packaging, Manufacturing or related field)
Candidates with experience in regulated industries such as medical, pharma and automotive will be given preference
Experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end using structured project management methods
Strong communication skills and cross-functional influence skills
