Job Responsibility:

  • Define EMC requirements and assess their impact on evolving product designs
  • Analyze compliance margins throughout development and present findings during internal reviews and customer technical meetings
  • Develop EMC plans, author test protocols, and coordinate execution at in‑house labs and accredited third‑party facilities
  • Lead pre‑compliance testing, troubleshoot EMI/RF issues, and manage all aspects of formal verification testing
  • Conduct certification testing to international standards, analyze results, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support product development through root‑cause analysis, change‑control assessments, and representation of EMC design margins
  • Maintain EMC capability by developing equipment needs, calibration plans, and in‑house test methodologies including wireless coexistence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE or related field
  • 5+ years EMC experience with working knowledge of standards such as CISPR 11 and IEC 60601‑1‑2
  • Apply electromagnetic engineering principles to translate customer needs into complete system‑level solutions
  • Strong EMC theory foundation and hands‑on proficiency with advanced EMC test equipment and methodologies
  • Proficiency with analysis tools including MATLAB, Excel, and LabVIEW, plus basic statistics for test interpretation
  • Understanding of test fixtures, build requirements, and electromagnetic modeling or circuit simulation tools
